Frisco has no shortage of event space — it has stadium clubs, hotel ballrooms, new-build banquet halls, and a great many rooms finished in the same grey-and-glass palette as the building next door. What it does not have much of is age. When a city grows this fast, character is the one thing that cannot be built on schedule.
Historic downtown McKinney has it in the way only a hundred-year-old square can: brick storefronts, a courthouse, tree cover, and streets that were laid out for people rather than parking. The Chestnut Hall sits on the second floor above that, which means your photographer gets a genuine downtown backdrop and your guests get somewhere to walk to before and after.
The drive is roughly twenty minutes east from most of Frisco — comfortably within range for any guest list, and a good deal shorter than most Frisco couples expect when they first hear "McKinney".
