Take the whole floor. Put one long banquet table down the middle of the room, get married on the balcony as the sun drops behind the rooftops, then push the table aside for dancing. There is no other party in the building, no shared lobby, and no schedule but yours.

No. There is no guest minimum and no food-and-beverage minimum. You rent the venue for a flat rate — $3,000 to $5,250 depending on the day and length — whether you bring 20 guests or 120.

Can we have both the ceremony and the reception here?

Yes. Many small weddings hold the ceremony on the 750-square-foot open-air balcony overlooking downtown, then move indoors for dinner and dancing while the balcony resets for cocktails.

What does a micro-wedding cost at The Chestnut Hall?

The venue rental is the same flat rate regardless of guest count: five-hour rentals are $3,000 Monday–Thursday and $3,500 Friday and Sunday; eight-hour rentals run $3,500–$5,250. Catering, florals, and photography are booked separately with vendors of your choosing.

Is five hours long enough for a small wedding?

For most weddings under about 50 guests, yes — a five-hour rental comfortably covers setup, a ceremony, dinner, and dancing. If you want a longer, more relaxed day, the eight-hour rental gives you room to breathe.
