One party instead
of three shifts.

Graduation parties outgrow houses fast. Between the family, the neighbours, the teammates, and the friends who are also graduating and can only stop by for an hour, the guest list quietly doubles — and a backyard in a Texas May is a gamble anyway.

The Chestnut Hall takes 120 standing across 3,000 air-conditioned square feet, with a 750-square-foot balcony for the friends who want to be outside and comfortable seating for the grandparents who don't. Everyone comes at once, and the party stays in one place.

A five-hour weekday rental starts at $3,000 with tables, gold Chiavari chairs, and setup and breakdown included — and with an open vendor policy, the catering can be as simple as your favourite barbecue or as formal as a seated dinner.

Weather Doesn't Matter

Air-conditioned for 120 guests, with a covered second-floor arrival — the May forecast stops being part of the planning.

Every Generation

Elevator access and cushioned seating for the grandparents, a balcony and open floor for the friends. One venue that suits both halves of the guest list.

Downtown Location

Right on the McKinney square, so out-of-town family can walk to dinner, coffee and shops before and after — the party anchors the whole day.

Graduation Party FAQs

Questions, answered.

How far ahead should I book a graduation party venue?

Early. Graduation parties in Collin County concentrate into two or three weekends in late May and early June, and those dates book well before spring. If you have a graduation coming, enquire as soon as the date is known.

How much does a graduation party cost to host?

The venue rents at a flat rate: five-hour rentals are $3,000 Monday–Thursday and $3,500 Friday or Sunday; eight-hour rentals run $3,500–$5,250. Tables, gold Chiavari chairs, and setup and breakdown are included.

Can two families share a graduation party?

Absolutely — joint parties are a practical way to handle overlapping guest lists, and at 120 standing guests the venue has the capacity for it. The rental rate is the same however you split it.

Can we bring our own food?

Yes. The Chestnut Hall has an open vendor policy and a full prep kitchen, so anything from a caterer to a barbecue order works. Vendors carry appropriate licensing and liability insurance.
